Our Story in the Black Hills

Who We Are
Built on Local Knowledge
The Location
Where You're Headed

1.2 Million Acres
Black Hills National Forest
Ponderosa pine covers the hills from Rapid City to Spearfish. Black Elk Peak tops out at 7,244 feet, the highest point in South Dakota, with over 700 miles of trails to explore.
Landmarks
Icons Within an Hour
Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and Jewel Cave National Monument are all within easy driving distance of any of our properties in the region.
Southern & Northern Hills
Two Distinct Regions
The Southern Hills are quieter, with state parks and canyon roads. The Northern Hills run through Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon, a 19-mile gorge carved by Spearfish Creek.
Year-Round
Four Seasons, All Worth It
Summer brings hiking and the Sturgis Rally. Fall turns the canyon walls gold. Winter opens the snowmobile trails. Spring is when the wildflowers come back to Custer State Park.
